The young women continue to perform well in learning and improving scone-making techniques. At the stage they have reached so far, approximately 80 percent of the production process has shown great success, with expectations of obtaining quality products that will bring good profits once they officially begin business operations. Simbo Young Women Entrepreneurs — Soap-Making Training
Building on their earlier bread-making training, the Simbo Young Women Entrepreneurs Group (Kikundi cha Mabinti Wajasiriamali Simbo) continues to grow its practical business skills through hands-on production training that supports self-reliance and income generation. On 09/06/2026 in Kigoma, Malka Foundation Helper — Kigoma successfully conducted entrepreneurship training for the Simbo Young Women Entrepreneurs Group (13) together with some community members. The session focused on equipping them with the skills to produce different hygiene products for household use and business. Through guided practice, participants gained practical skills in making rice soap and water soap — from raw material preparation and production steps, to quality control, packaging, and marketing. The participants showed great enthusiasm and clearly understood the concept of production entrepreneurship. They are now able to identify business opportunities that can provide income and contribute to the development of their families and communities. The training has given them knowledge to start small soap production enterprises and increase the value of their skills through sustainable business. Ujuzi ni mtaji, ukiunganishwa na ubunifu na bidii, huzaa mafanikio ya kudumu. Malka Foundation Helper continues to empower girls and communities by providing practical skills that build economic self-reliance, encourage creativity, and create new opportunities for employment and social development.

Education
Environmental and Health Education
Environmental and Health Education helps children understand the importance of cleanliness, environmental conservation, and protecting their own health as well as the well-being of the communities around them. Through interactive sessions, young learners are taught practical habits such as proper handwashing, safe waste disposal, and keeping their surroundings clean — skills they can carry home and share with their families. Sessions also cover topics like safe drinking water, preventing common diseases, and the value of green spaces and trees in their neighborhoods. By involving children directly, we are nurturing a generation that takes ownership of their environment and champions healthy living in their homes and villages. Building this awareness from childhood is the foundation of a clean, safe, and healthy society. Educating children about preventing gender-based violence from an early age also helps build a society founded on safety, respect, values, and equality for all. When children receive the right education early in life, they grow up understanding their rights, respecting others, and becoming part of positive change within their communities.
